Hey Kool-Aid Man! Check out the latest with Merrill Lynch CEO Stan O'Neil. Wow! A $2.24 Billion Quarterly loss. Thats insane. I wonder if he earned his $48 million salary.
Maybe not. According to a recent article from the AP,
"O'Neal was among defendants named in a lawsuit filed in New York yesterday on behalf of Life Enrichment Foundation. The institutional investor contends Merrill Lynch issued false and misleading statements about its exposure to risky MORTGAGE investments."

Seems like Merrill was trying to get more people to drink up! I'm Glad O'Neil didn't get off without punishment. He was refused a severance package. Justice at last. He has to manage to survive off his pension and stock worth a modest $160 million. That will teach him.
